Excellent fresh chimarrão flavor and cut! Has a taste that reminds me of both Barão and Yacuy.

I've been looking for an affordable, vacuum-packed and of course tasty erva for chimarrão available in the US and this one really fits the bill. According to the bag, it's organic, fair trade and Rainforest Alliance certified to boot.

This Santa Catarina Green Yerba Mate is the absolute best mate I have EVER tasted. It has a delicate pungence to finally match the wonderful boquet that greets one the moment the package is snipped open. To my knowledge, there is nothing like it.
I shall be back again and agin forever.
