Perfect- beautiful color and just like the mate gourds we had while living in Argentina.
Ordered 2 gourds as our last one (purchased from a different source) developed a crack in it.These gourds are top notch! They are well finished, evenly balanced, and were definitely harvested at the right time for use as a vessel. They are instantly the new favorites in the house! We compared them to our old gourd, and they are so much better; there is good weight to these gourds whereas our previous was so light it would topple over. The flat even bottoms are impressive and keep your drink safe from spilling as you drink your mate down and reform that mountain. The gourds cured easily and fit very nicely in your hand with a fresh cup of mate!
Perfect size for enjoying mate. Nice color and easy to cure and use. I ordered an additional one for a friend.
the gourd is the perfect hand size, very well balanced and stable. very nice finish. I have not used the bombilla yet
I like a plain mate gourd, like this one, but large---about 12 ounces volume filled to the brim. I added that preference to a comment with my order, and received a 12 ounce gourd, larger than the item description. So, I got service above the required level. The gourd is very nice, required modest scraping, is still not quite dry but I can work with that.
