My new favorite yerba

I bought this soon after Rick introduced it, having never heard of it before. In terms of yerba, I tend to like Paraguayan (Pajarito) the best. The slight sour note is what I am used to and have loved from the beginning. Some Uruguayan (Canarias) and Argentinian (Cruz de Malta) I like as well, but they get less love than Pararito and Campesino.Until I tried this. All I can say is wow - I may have a new favorite. When I start a cup with cold water, I get distinct notes of honey. I can't shake this impression. This will be an incredible yerba for terere come summer.Pretty standard mix of stems, leaves, and dust. Very balanced flavor - the effect, I assume, of the extra aging. Medium duration, and the flavor matures beautifully. Similar to Anna Park, but I like this better. When using hot water, notes of chocolate. Medium caffeine effect. If you are not sensitive to caffeine you could probably drink this in the evening. I hesitate to add more about the flavor because it is subtle and intricate. I daresay you will like the flavor – there is nothing to dislike about this yerba!

Just Great

Very good Yerba Mate. This one takes a bit longer for flavor to develop but it's worth the wait. I reallynotice a prominent chocolate taste that I really like. Average caffeine effect. This one's a winner.
