Yerba Mate Descafeinada Instantánea 80 g (2,82 oz)

I have been looking for a tea I could drink in the afternoon &/or evening without caffeine. I've enjoyed hot Yerba Mate every morning for many years but found it kept me awake if I drank it later in the day. I'm pleased to find out about Instant Decaf Yerba Mate which I can enjoy anytime day or night, hot or cold! Thanks!

I'll lead with: This is a delicious infusion, you should definitely get it. Having said that, I'm torn on how to review it. It's really tasty, and after having had a large cup at 8pm, I had no problem with sleeping. The conflict for me is that it doesn't really taste like mate. I can't pinpoint the taste, it's familiar, maybe there's a hint of mate flavor, but I was expecting more of a mate cocido flavor, which it wasn't. So I'll deduct one star for that. But on its own terms, it's really good tea. I highly recommend.

I decided to finally try instant yerba. I am more of a purist when it comes to my yerba, but wanted to see what the hype was. I tried it hot and cold. First, the powder does not dissolve very well making it less than preferable to drink. The taste was smokey, however, it was weak for my satisfaction and I actually used more than called for to make the drink. This is okay for those who enjoy a weaker beverage and will sit for a longer time to mix prior to drinking. I will stay with traditional.
