Titrayju for me & you

If you craved for yerba mate Romance (another yerba mate from Misiones that Rick used to sell), Titrayju becomes your best choice: medium cut with stems and slightly smoked, with a delicate flavor that endures a full thermo of water. By using the infuser, you can also enjoy it as a "mate cocido".

Lovely

I bought a sample of this and wow, it's my new favorite for a smoked and smoky yerba mate. I generally drink GYM's Select brand, because it's organic and unsmoked, but with every order I like to throw in something traditional to have as a treat. And, for me, this is a treat. I think it tastes better at a lower brewing temperature - maybe 65-68 C.

As good as when I used to buy it in Buenos Aires 10+ years ago.

Did not like it

I was excited to try this "special purchase" but something held me back from buying it. Soon I realized that I could try it as a "free yerba mate" sample — thank you, Rick! — so I did. I was very disappointed. I don't want to be too negative, but the flavor reminded me of nothing so much as oil paint (paint thinner, tuperntine), probably as a result of whatever wood was used in smoking it. I would not recommend it to anyone. Sorry, Rick.
