Yerba Mate Starter Set

My second one love it

I am a real traditional gourd drinker BUT I have been using this consistently every week day for many months now. I really have come to enjoy this thermos. It takes just a bit to adjust to how and what works best when using it. Once you get it down it’s a real game changer, or at least it has been for me. I prepare it in the morning before I go to work. About 20 minutes in to my 1/2 hour drive I open the spout. I can hear the water rush up to the cup preparing my Yerba. A few minutes later I loosen the top section and begin drinking. No spills no mess and very simple. It fits snuggly right in my cup holder. I drink two thermos fills at work and one last one on my way home. I use leaf only fresh cut Yerba mate as my favorite in this. It’s a super healthy way to get energized for work. The stainless steel spring upgrade addition is what truly makes this thermos unparalleled to many others. Fantastic and fresh

Initially I was wary about buying this thermos due to the mixed reviews seen here and elsewhere that make comments about difficulty of use and the yerba washing out too quickly. I have no complaints. I watched the video on how to use but found no issues in drawing water because there is a tiny hole near the straw that lets air in (maybe older models did not have that feature?). The cup only fills with about half the amount of yerba that would go into a traditional gourd. I fill it up in the morning and then while on my lunch break at work I refill it with fresh yerba and therefore consume the same amount that I normally would at home with a gourd. I generally refill the the thermos twice. I prefer softer yerba mates and while there does seem to be a sharper drop in intensity of flavor compared to a traditional gourd session I do still find it to be very enjoyable and very much worth the convenience and portability.

This is good Yerba. Smooth rich flavor. I will get it again
