Collection: Paraguay

Yerba Mate in Paraguay is grown on small fields scattered throughout the southern region. They only harvest in the winter months by hand. The most popular method for drinking yerba mate is terere (iced). They use a tall slim cup called a guampa to hold the yerba and pour ice water over the leaves and sip through a bombilla. Most Paraguayan yerba has a small leaf cut and a good amount of dust so that the terrere with be tasty and refreshing.
