One of my favorite blended, mint flavored yerba mate choices.
This yerba/erva is equally good hot or cold. It tastes very fresh. The boldo is a bit sour, so some might not like it. I however, love it. It's a unique flavor. Since this yerba/erva is from Brazil, I thought it would be a chimarrão (fine) cut, but it isn't (which makes it easier to prepare than the fine cut). Great to add variety to your rotation!
I prefer to cut this with a 'regular' mate, as it is quite bold with the mint, but I do enjoy the flavor very much!
Nice clean taste. The mint flavor is light and not too strong or overpowering. I think it is good both hot and cold.
Yerba mate with mint and boldo is very popular in Paraguay for drinking iced yerba. This wild harvested blend from Brazil is smoke free and dust free which creates a much lighter more thirst quenching flavor. The Kurupi and Campesino brands are too strong for me but I can drink this all day, everyday.
