Carobella Yerba Mate 500 g (1.1 lbs)

This is one my favorites that have come out from the company! Had great mate taste with bitters but this was one I could drink like all day!!

An energizing yerba mate blend. The description says it all. Pleasant carob taste. I would recommend.

This is a very nice creation. The carob gives it a slight sweetness. There's no bitterness at all. The added caffeine had me feeling good all morning!

I tried the sample of this product and really enjoyed it. My title pretty much says it al, it is smokey, smooth and soothing. Will consider purchasing the full-size box in future.

Before trying this flavor, I looked at the comments for flavor notes, I saw comments of chocolate/cacao nips flavors in the Mate, so I figured I'll try it for myself. On my first taste, I got a very Paraguayan yerba taste, lightly aged minty-ness without the mentol flavor. I didn't quite get a hint of chocolate on first take, so I let it sit. And in 4 minutes the flavor completely changed, texture emboldened and became notably layered, complex and pronounced, the lightest sip coated the entire palate with rich notes of bitter dark chocolate as if I were drinking mate with 78% cacao chocolate eventually the milky notes of the yerba get to be like milk and sugar, the bread-y notes in the yerba create a taste and aromatics similar to bitter hot chocolate replaced with some slight spicey-ness similar to cloves or cumin. At hour 2 this yerba is still going strong, maintains a good mountain for hours and the size of the yerba holds up while refilling, making getting good flow of yerba easy and the chocolate-y pungent cacao notes have not been covered up by the grassy, yeast-y notes of the yerba but now are tasted at the same strength and compliment each other well. Truly delicious.
