I was taken back at first by the smokey mesquite boldness; notes of leather, beef jerky, roasted nuts. La Rubia has a very smooth finish from the first to last sip; earthy, peat, creamy sweetness. It’s a very stable flavor that I can enjoy well into it’s watered down form. After a couple litres of water has cycled through La Rubia, the smoke flavor settled a little, and I tasted sweeter notes of dried fruit; raisins, prune and cherry. Good stuff A+
What a unique tasting Yerba mate. My first Paraguayan brand and wow I am blown away by the unique taste profile and aroma. I highly recommend this brand! Worth being in the waitlist!

Simply amazing flavors. It's truly a special yerba mate. I bought 2 bags and wish I bought more now. Can't stop taking sips of it! It kind of reminds me of Cruz de Malta flavor in overall flavor. But La Rubia is more complex, richer, and flavorful./ better.
This is my new favorite. Tastes amazing hot can’t wait to try it cold. So many flavor notes. Highly don’t recommend you buy it. So there’s more for me. :)
