La Oberena Yerba Mate 500 g (1.1 lbs)

This mate really blew my mind. It's everything others have described, with a smoke profile like fine scotch whisky. I would make this my go-to mate and buy two bags right now, but sadly it's out of stock. Also, it comes in a thick brown paper bag, of the kind you used to see in the old days, not plastic disguised as metal and placed in a cardboard box. The real deal! (^_^)

This is an intriguing yerba. At first the flavor confused me as it did not have any characteristics (bitterness, hay, etc.) that I attribute to other brands.But it grew on me. long lasting flavor. Best I can describe it is earthy but that doesn't do it justice.

Amazing! Just had this for the first time and it is definitely a new favorite. Great flavor, perfectly balanced for my taste. The flavor of the organic brands just seems better across the board.

This was my first time trying this mate and I have really been enjoying it. The taste is great and smooth, and I love that it is organic. I definitely recommend it.

Great flavor, stems and leaves without a lot of "dust".
