Centenaria Traditional

Yerba Mate Centenaria Traditional is a true delight for us mate lovers. Its traditional and authentic flavor is a fresh aroma and when prepared it is smooth, balanced to enjoy at any time of the day, whether alone or in company. I recommend it.

My new favorite Uruguayan yerba!

Sweet AND smoky flavor! I'm normally an Argentine yerba fan but I am really enjoying this... super low dust content for a Uruguayan means smooth sipping with the bombilla but it is difficult to keep the mountain tall. Sweet at lower temperatures, smoky and almost citrusy flavors at higher temps. I keep my termo filled with water at about 170.

Very impressed

I am not a fan of Canarias or other Uruguayan brands but this one is much less bitter and I like it. I contacted the producer to find out why it seems to be sweeter than other brands from Uruguay. He said they carefully select the yerba from plants grown "under the canopy" , which is what we would refer to as wild harvested.

Gaucho

Typical Uruguayan style yerba mate, a little finer cut than Canarias and Sara with less dust. Earthy, green foreward notes, less bitterness than other Uruguayan yerba. Slightly sour finish, a very slight smoke. Sweetest in it’s watered down form, hint of cinnamon.

Decent Uruguayan Yerba Mate

Pretty good Yerba Mate. It has a unique raisin/date-like finish to it that I like and for the price it is a good buy. I prefer other Uruguayan brands (Del Cebador, Sara Trad) but this one has a nice, soft easy-to-drink appeal to it that makes it shelf-worthy.
