Flavored yerba matés, such as this one, should be infused with hot water at about 140 - 145 °F (60 - 63 °C), for best flavor extraction. Above that, the flavors will gradually start to degrade. It can also be prepared cold (like tereré)

I love all of the flavored mates by this brand. The orange one is no exception!
